The Church Year

Sundays and Seasons

Our worship follows a special "church year" which helps us to incorporate all of the major themes and events in Holy Scripture, especially God's plan, prophecy and provision for our salvation through the work of Christ as it unravels through the Old and New Testaments.  In our daily lives we keep track of our activities and special events with a calendar. The church throughout the centuries has also “kept track” of days and seasons and commemorating special occasions with a calendar.
